OF LIFE:
HONORING THOSE WHO LEFT TOO SOON
PRESENTED BY THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF
HEATHER CARPENTER
What: An opportunity for
our community to honor teens and young adults who have lost their
life. The event will host speakers, a three-mile walk with memorials
and information from local organizations.
» Families will share stories of their child's amazing
life and provide a memorial for their child along the walk route.
» Speakers will highlight our sorrow and revive
our commitment towards promoting positive life choices to local youth.
» Organizations will present material and be available
to explain how we can serve their mission of helping our community's
youth.
When : Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 7:30pm
Where: Diestelhorst Bridge, Redding, California
Three-mile walk along the Sacramento River Trail (Trail behind Elks
Lodge and Senior Citizens Center)
Who:
» Family and friends memorializing the life of their
child.
» Organizations dedicated towards educating the
youth of our community about positive life choices.
» Community members gathering together to remember
the children and recharge their commitment to today's youth.
